“If chocolate isn't the answer, could you please repeat the question?”
This past week I decided to return to a rather strict 2 week period of not eating any sugars or refined carbs, even healthy whole wheat ones. I wrote and podcasted in depth about this program a year and a half ago which I'll include in the links below.
I am also including a link to a 2 hour (yes, 2 hrs) of an interview with Gary Taubs the King of The Evils of Sugar. It is recommended for those of you who want to take a deep dive into the research and decide if the facts help you decide what eating program is best for you.
All I know is that when I am off these two food groups, I am less hungry and slightly more sad.
No amount of roasted chic peas, no matter how tasty the recipe, hits my neural pleasure centers as a few M&M's and a nice hot cup of black coffee.
